We're excited to announce that CBAPB is moving from PlayTime Scheduler to a new scheduling and payment platform: Playbypoint. This change will help us improve operations, communication, and—most importantly—your pickleball experience.

Playbypoint FAQs

  • You’ll be able to trade in any unused punches for Club Credits in Playbypoint.

    When booking a session be sure to use your Club Credits to receive the $4 per session pricing. You can purchase Club Credits at any time and they NEVER expire.

    You can purchase Club Credits at the facility or through the app or browser in Play By Point.

  • Yes. The platform costs $299/month, plus credit card processing fees (2.7% + $0.15 per transaction). We believe the improved security and efficiency are well worth the cost—and we are not raising any membership or member session fees.

  • Yes. You’ll pay using your previously purchased Club Credits to receive the $4 per session pricing. If you pay with a card the rate is $5 for members and $8 for non-members per session. non-members also pay an additional fee when using a card.

  • Once logged into Playbypoint, you can purchase Club Credits. These credits will live in your account wallet and automatically apply when you register for a session. Paying with Club Credits puts Member pricing per session at $4. If you pay with your card to book a session the cost is $5.

  • Yes. Playbypoint uses Stripe, a global leader in secure payment processing. The system complies with PCI DSS standards and has been fully vetted by our team.

  • You can cancel within the designated cancellation window of three-hours to receive your Club Credits refund. There are no cash refunds. For emergencies or sudden illness, email us and we’ll gladly restore your Club Credits.

  • You can register using either Club Credits or paying with a card. Club Credit payment pricing is $4 per session. Paying by card pricing is $5 for members and $8 + fee for non-members. One or the other is required to hold your spot.

  • Yes. Playbypoint includes waitlist functionality and we’ll share full details as we near our July launch.

  • No. CBAPB is transitioning to a fully cash-free system to improve safety, tracking, and efficiency.

  • Playbypoint will now manage memberships automatically—no more paper forms or spreadsheets. Renewal will happen annually in December for most members, or on your sign-up anniversary after May 1, 2025.

    You’ll be notified 30-days in advance that your membership is up for renewal.

  • You’ll use the Playbypoint app or the CBAPB website (CBAPB.com). We’ll walk you through the setup process before launch and offer support if needed.

A Note for Our Hosts

Playbypoint makes hosting easier and more streamlined:

  • Hosts are automatically added to their sessions

  • Check-in is simple—no more tracking punch cards or collecting payments

  • Communication with members will be faster and more reliable

  • Club messages, events, and court rental announcements can be shared in real time

We are incredibly thankful for our hosts and volunteers. This transition is a step toward supporting you better and making your role more focused on the game—not the logistics.
